Many modern day Philosophers describe the word ‘Hyperreality’ as an inability to distinguish reality from a simulation of reality. I don’t know about you, but when I hear the phrase ‘a simulation of reality’ I just HAVE to think of the Matrix or The Truman Show! Are you the same?
You see though, Hyperreality runs a lot deeper than that. In a world where highly advanced technology is now the normality, lines are becoming so blurred between reality and simulacra. TV, film and social platforms are usually the main culprits for our confusion. You see, these technologies create a kind of reality that we as everyday Humans are incapable of living up to.
Many Philosophers have attempted to understand why hyperreality exists. One named Umberto Eco states that hyperreality is the desire for an actual reality — for the photoshopped to become real.
Perhaps, when we find ourselves longing for this…

…we are actually longing to the stable reality. Maybe we are looking for security in things that we don’t quite have yet.
Think about this next time your doing your tri-daily in-depth stalk
This week for my remediation I made a short little podcast. I did not script it because I wanted it to feel real – I don’t want you all to think that I just didn’t put in any effort.
Until next time,

Love the little podcast just hope it wasn’t too long for marking but i think genuine is best. Only thing in the writing would be to reference evidence or an export to support your analogies.
